The “Master of Engineering in Applied Plastics Engineering” program at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences has a length of 3 full-time semesters. The course focuses on the areas of product development and construction as well as production technology and tool development. In addition to the studies, students work on practical projects and a final Master’s thesis. A relevant first university degree (Bachelor’s or Diploma) is a prerequisite for admission to the degree. Graduates are able to work in plastics processing, construction with plastics and material behavior among other fields.
