The “BISS” dual study model” at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences is with a duration of 4.5 years. The program is offered with the Bachelor’s degree courses in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as well as Mechanical Engineering. Students must have a training contract with a company that trains electronics technicians, industrial mechanics, microtechnologists or tool mechanics. Studies are conducted parallel to the practical training, enabling students to develop their skills and acquire in-depth knowledge.
