The further training program “Contract Manager” for non-lawyers at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 2 part-time semesters. The course conveys basic knowledge of contract law and provides students with the tools to draft contracts. Basics of the conclusion of a contract, Breaches of duty in contracts and design options through terms and conditions, Award procedure and law, Special contractual situations and enforcement of contracts, International treaties and other topics are explored during the course. Admission requirements include the completion of a university degree or a comparable degree at a vocational academy. Graduates are able to independently draw up, negotiate and enforce contracts in the interests of a company.
