The “Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Digitization” program at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences is with an extra-occupational form of study. Over the course of 6-8 part-time semesters, the course focuses on the advancing digitization in industry with relevant IT and legal topics. The course curriculum contains Basics of economics, Commercial and labor law, Basics of computer science, Engineering math, Cost accounting and controlling, Electrical engineering, Digital control technology, Automation technology, Project management and other subjects.
