The “Bachelor of Laws in International Business Law” program at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences has a length of 7 full-time academic semesters. The aim of the program is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of international law and basic training in business law and economics. Some of the compulsory subjects in the course curriculum include Basics of law and the application of law, Private Business Law, Private Economic Law, Company law, Public Law, Enforcement and Legal Limits, Employment Law, Contract drafting, contract and product liability and more. In order to be admitted, candidates must present a general university entrance qualification, subject-specific university entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification. Graduates are able to work in international companies and organizations, associations with an international focus, international law firms, public administration, international mediation and arbitration and more.
