“Bachelor of Science in Bio and Nanotechnologies” is a full-time degree program offered by South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences Iserlohn with a duration of six semesters. The aim is to teach students the basics of both engineering science and natural science. It combines theory and practice, where participants learn how to deal with the use of enzymes and cells in medicine or agriculture, and how can develop new innovative products. Content of study includes the subjects Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Bio- and Nanomaterials. They will also participate in practical trainings and an internship program where can gain additional experience. Successful completion of “Bio- and Nanotechnologies” leads to career in pharmaceutical and food industries, or in environmental engineering.
