“Bachelor of Science in Computer Science” is a degree program offered by South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences Iserlohn and is with a duration of six semesters. It is conducted in cooperation with the University of Wuppertal, and combines theory and practice. This course is ideal for students interested in information technologies, programing and databases. They will choose between three areas to focus on Application Development, Systems Integration, or Business. In addition, students will also participate in an internship program, where can deepen their experience and knowledge. Content of study includes the subjects Fundamentals of Computer Science, Internet Technologies, Software Engineering, IT Project Management. At the end of their studies, participants are able to develop new software programs and applications. Successful completion of this program prepares graduates for wide range of career opportunities in application consulting, system or database administration, IT management.
