“Master of Arts in Media Education” is a part-time degree program offered by the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences Iserlohn. Duration is between five and six-semesters. Students who enter the program will gain further knowledge and pedagogical skills in the area of media. Study plan includes theoretical subjects such as Media Education & Training, Media Socialization & Psychology, Media Didactics & Design, Media & Information Technology. At the end of the course, participants understand how to effectively use the media in teaching processes, or how can use hardware and software in digital media. Successful completion of the course leads to professional career in kindergartens, schools and facilities for open child and youth work.
