The short course “Solar Winter School” offered by the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences grants the opportunity to learn know-how in this vastly expanding industry. The duration of the course is two weeks in full-time study and the language is English. Participants can choose to between two focuses. The first one is Solar Employee Track which dives into the industry as a whole, solar companies and the market. Then the second option is Solar Entrepreneur Track for the students seeking to realize their ideas and innovations in the photovoltaic business. This short course contains subjects on Photovoltaics, Electrical properties of solar cells and system design, Quality of photovoltaic modules, Marketing of photovoltaics for urban and rural power supply, Sales and planning skills, Industry networking and many more. Graduates can directly proceed to the job market. There are several requirements for students to have an engineering, business or commercial background or have been a working professional employed in a solar company or have been a freelancer in the solar industry or have been an Engineering, Management or Renewable Energies student in your final years of study or a recent Engineering or Management or Renewable Energies graduate.
