The study course “Master of Music in Chamber Music” is with a total length of four semesters and provided by the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. The master degree provides to the participants knowledge of the basic principles of French stage language and teaches how to deal with literary-musical forms for instance in recitative, aria, dialogue and provides an artistic representation of French melody and opera repertoire in a literary and art-historical context. The graduates obtain general comprehension of the epochs of music theater as well as genres and their characteristics.
