“Bachelor of Music in Elementary Music Pedagogy” is offered by the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart with a total length of eight semesters. The main subject area is divided into the subjects of rhythm, movement education, dance, educational practice, improvisation, movement accompaniment, basics of instrumental education and theory of EMP. During their study, the prospective students enhance their abilities in metrics, non-verbal communication, sensorimotor, social interaction, improvisation in music and movement. The course also explores the development of repertoire of songs, dances, games and tasks on the basis of rhythm as well as the development and promotion of creative, communicative and cooperative competence through the perspective of possibilities and expression with music, voice, language and movement.
