With a total length of eight semesters, the degree program “Bachelor of Music in Orchestral Conducting” is provided by the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. The program professionally develops the important aspects of the conducting technique primarily in the areas of percussion and rehearsal technique evidenced by conducting orchestral and ensemble works from different epochs. Graduates obtain basis in conducting and rehearsal, transferring musical parameters to choral practice and confidence in different musical styles with basic knowledge of the important methods of music education in historical and current dimensions.
