The eight-semester degree program “Bachelor of Music in Percussion” is provided by the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. The prospective students develop competence in the elementary processes of grip, movement and posture in the areas of drums, timpani and bar playing with the help of exercises and studies and become familiar with the differences in style and phrasing, also based on chamber music. The bachelor degree also provides knowledge in literature from the fields of orchestra, solo and ensemble while providing to the graduates the necessary performance experience and develops stage presence through regular auditions.
