With a duration of four semesters the study course “Master of Music in Recorder” is offered by the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. The program is primarily geared towards the artistic development and the extension of specific technical and interpretative skills while including special music theoretical and scientific content. Throughout the course, the prospective students obtain comprehension in the diverse repertoire and extensive competence in the stylistic as well as performance-related and technical issues. “Master of Music in Recorder or Transverse Flute” enables participants to learn about the important technical characteristics of the Chalumeau and acquire comprehension related to the goals and strategies of the various areas of music management.
