With a total duration of eight semesters the “Bachelor of Music in String Instruments” is offered by the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. During the course, the graduates develop advanced viola techniques while obtaining comprehension and abilities in sonatas, concerts, etudes and solo literature as well as orchestral positions. The bachelor degree provides competence in the double bass techniques and analytical methods for describing formal and compositional principles along with knowledge of the repertoire in symphonic, music theater and chamber ensembles through all epochs by practical experience with auditions, soloist accompaniment and prima vista reading.
