Provided by the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, the “Bachelor of Music in Voice” is with a duration of eight semesters. The course prepares the students for the professional life of a singer by including important modules such as performance training, cappella vocal ensemble, lied, aria presentation and more. During their study, graduates obtain basic knowledge of the structure, function and disorders of the functional group of speech as well as knowledge of measures to keep the voice healthy. The course explores the structure, function and disorders of hearing as well as the importance of hearing for voice, speech, language while students also gain the confidence in performing on stage along with the ability to convincingly stage portrayals of songs and arias when performing in concert.
