Description
Students in Agricultural Technology learn the ins and outs of agricultural machinery, tools, equipment and computer programs and how to solve agricultural and environmental problems. The agricultural industry is changing and the programs are designed to introduce students and help them adapt to these changes. With an emphasis on sustainable development and food quality and safety, students are taught subjects, such as Agricultural Plant Science, Farm Management, Crop Production, Agricultural Computing, Machinery and Power Units, Environmental Safety and Health, Applied Crop and Animal Science, and more. A hands-on approach helps students develop practical skills through research, group projects and field work in real-life situations. Precision, data gathering and processing, analyzing, accuracy, problem solving and the ability to take responsibility are very important skills in this field.
