The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology” provided by the Technical University of Berlin offers a full-time course with a duration of six semesters. The program will give students knowledge and expertise in biotechnologies and their application in food production, pharmacy and medicine. Some of the main disciplines thought are biology, chemistry, process engineering and others. The program is highly practically oriented and during the education students have to choose their course orientation – engineering/analytical specialization or medicine orientation. Graduates can start their biotechnology careers in various industries such as medicine, pharmacy and food production.
