The degree program “Master of Science in Biotechnology” at the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program will provide students with modern and research-oriented biotechnology knowledge. Some of the main modules taught during the program are systems biology, synthetic biology, bioinformatics and others. Students will be able to specialize in industrial biotechnology or medical biotechnology. Furthermore, during their education students are required to complete at least 10 weeks industry internship. After completing their education graduates will be able to start their careers in research and development, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry and other areas.
