Business Informatics is an academic field of study that aims to integrate information technology into management concepts. It combines concepts from information systems, computer science and business administration in order to create solutions for business problems, increase productivity and improve the environment of companies. Business Informatics is a multidisciplinary field that teaches a number of subjects like Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, Law, Business Statistics, Information Systems in Organizations, Accountancy, Management, Database Management, Computer Networks, Web Application Development, Statistical Analysis for Business and others. Business Informatics degree courses provide students with in-depth knowledge, creative and analytical methods, management and communication techniques and valuable professional skills in the field like the ability to define and solve problems, plan processes, improve communication within an organization, make decisions, develop business strategies and increase quality. Business Informatics students have the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge through internships. Graduates are expected to be fully prepared for a career in various sectors, such as e-commerce, online marketing, mobile trade, public administration, business analysis, consultancy, IT coordination, system development and many more.

For this program, a general higher education entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification is needed. Knowledge of German Language is also provided.
