The degree program “Master of Education in Food Science and Nutrition (teacher training)” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program is a continuation of the bachelor`s program and will provide students with further detailed and specialized science and educational knowledge and skills. Some of the main modules taught are psychology, pedagogical diagnostics, nutrition science and others. Furthermore, students are required to complete a practical semester in a school, where they will gain experience in their future profession. After finishing the program participants will start their teaching careers, where they will apply their advanced knowledge and skills in practice.
