The degree program “Master of Arts in German as a Foreign Language” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program has a strong technical focus and is having two main areas – linguistics and foreign language didactics. Some of the main disciplines are German language, didactics, technical and methodological basics and others. Furthermore, students are required to complete at least 4 weeks teaching internship in Germany or abroad. After graduation participants may start their careers as teachers, in different industries, communication and others.
