The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Material Science and Engineering” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of six semesters. The program will help students to develop their knowledge about different materials, their qualities and how to use them in practice. The main disciplines taught are physics, chemistry, mechanic, engineering and others. As the program is highly practically oriented two non-university internships have to be done by students in order to gain practical experience in their future profession. After graduation participants will be able to start their careers in areas such as product development, manufacture, engineering and others.
