The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition (teacher training)” at the Technical University of Berlin offers a full-time course with a duration of six semesters. The program can be selected as a core subject and supplemented with a general education subject at the Free University of Berlin or the Humboldt University. In this program students will acquire knowledge in nutrition and food technology. The main modules thought are basic principles of food technology, microbiology of food and others. This Bachelor program requires a six-week professional development internship at a school, where students will gain their first experience in teaching. After finishing the program graduate students will be able to start their careers as teachers.
