The degree program “Master of Science in Patent Engineering” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program will enable students to become experts in patenting, research and development engineering by giving them knowledge how to analyze and evaluate different inventions and innovations. Some of the main modules taught during this specialized program are engineering, law, mechanics, intellectual property and others. To develop further their skills students are required to complete a six-week non-university internship during the program. After graduation participants will be able to work in different areas such as patent offices, research and development, innovation engineering and many others.
