The teacher training degree program “Bachelor of Science in Prevocational Education (core subject) (teacher training)” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of six semesters. This program will provide participants with theoretical and practical industrial science knowledge and skills. Furthermore, students that want to start their careers as secondary school teachers will be given the opportunity to gain the qualification needed. The core subjects of this program are science, language education, didactics and pedagogy. Students also will complete a six-week teaching internship in a secondary school, which is needed if they want to start their careers as teachers.
