The degree program “Master of Science in Urban Design” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program is taught in English and will give students interdisciplinary knowledge and skills which is needed in order to understand and solve complex problems in today`s urban landscape. The program can be completed as a dual degree program with the cooperation of the Tongji University of Shanghai, China. Some of the main modules taught are urban design, urban planning, architecture and others. Before starting the program students are required to complete at least 16 weeks of internships. After finishing the program graduates will be able to change the urban environment with their work in different state, municipal or other institutions, private architecture offices and others.
