The degree program “Master of Science in Urban Development” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program is taught in English and will give students expert and detailed knowledge in urbanization processes in Europe and the Middle East& North Africa. The program will be held in Berlin but also in the TU Berlin campus in EL Gouna, Egypt. Some of the main modules taught are urban planning, sociology, landscape architecture and others. Furthermore, students are required to complete a practical internship during the program. After graduation participants will be able to participate in the complex creation of a sustainable urban environment by working in different institutions, agencies, planning offices and others.
