The degree program “Master of Science in Urban Ecosystem Sciences” offered by the Technical University of Berlin provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program is partially held in English and is aimed at graduates with a degree in ecology, planning, architecture, geoscience or a closely related subject. The program will give students comprehensive and detailed environmental knowledge, which is needed to design and develop modern and sustainable urban ecological concepts. Some of the main modules taught are environmental resources, urban ecosystems, ecology, soil science and others. After completing their degree graduates will be able to start shaping the urban environment with their work in planning offices, different institutions, environmental associations etc.
