The study program “Bachelor of Engineering in General Mechanical Engineering’’ at the Technical University of Cologne provides a full-time, as well as a part-time Bachelor’s course with a duration between six and ten semesters. This program is targeted towards high school graduates who could demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the field. The program is designed in such a way that it serves as an academic foundation for those who would like to build a career in this industry. The Bachelor’s program offers the following specialization courses: ‘’Metal Engineering’’, ‘’Synthetics Engineering’’ or ‘’Environmental Engineering’’. After the first academic year, students could choose to obtain their Bachelor's degree in either General Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Business Administration and Engineering.
