The study program “Bachelor of Engineering in Rescue Engineering’’ at the Technical University of Cologne provides a full-time Bachelor’s course with a duration of seven semesters. This program is aimed at prospective students who wish to find employment in fire brigades, emergency medical services or any other aid-related organizations. The Bachelor’s program offers an interdisciplinary approach to researching this field. There is a wide range of disciplines that are incorporated into the curriculum. Some of those are business administration, public health, measurement engineering, etc. The two specialization modules that are currently offered are namely ‘’Rescue Engineering’’, ‘’Fire Safety Engineering’’.
