The “Master of Science in Advanced Methods in Particle Physics” is a four-semester joint degree program between the Technical University of Dortmund University, the University of Bologna and Clermont-Auvergne. Geared towards the theoretical and experimental particle physics, the English-taught study course imparts methodological basis on instrumentation, detector physics, machine learning, statistical data analysis and large-scale scientific computing and programming. During their study, participants explore various subjects such as quantum field theory, artificial intelligence for particle physics, detector systems in particle and medical physics, computer science for high energy physics as well as theoretical particle physics and more.
