With a standard duration of four semesters for full-time study or seven semesters for part-time study, the degree program “Master of Arts in Ageing Societies” is provided by the Technical University of Dortmund. The compulsory courses teach in-depth fundamentals in the field of ageing and age with methodological skills. During the selectable specialization and supplementary courses, participants are able to combine theoretical, research based and application-related content. By providing with solid comprehension of the individual and societal aging, the program imparts strong methodological skills in empirical social research and qualifies graduates for fields of activity such as in scientific age research and teaching, departments in organizations, associations and societies concerned with ageing and age-related issues, companies and administrative bodies in the areas of HR policy and corporate age management and more.
