The three-semester course of studies “Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. Divided into basic and advanced modules, each module of the program comprises several courses and each deals with a specific topic.The research-based degree programprovidesthe ability for scientific work and students acquire both theoretical and practical skills in the areas of language analysis and language teaching as well as in applied fields of linguistics. While training participants in presentation and writing abilities, they become able to master the handling of various types of text.“Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics” qualifies students for fields of activity that require in-depth knowledge in the field of linguistics andis taught both in English and German.
