“Master of Education for Teacher Training in Basic Language Education (Primary Schools, Special Education)” is with a length of four semesters offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. In order to establish a school-relevant overview of fundamental areas of mathematics, this study course involves disciplines of geometry, stochastic, functions of algebra and arithmetic. As this is a teacher training course, the subjects are directly related to didactics. The aim is to promote contextual and creative understanding of the mathematical structures and explore mathematic as a science. Graduates of this degree program deepen and enhance their acquired knowledge during the Bachelor’s degree.
