With a length of four semesters the degree program “Master of Education for Teacher Training in Basic Mathematical Education (Primary Schools/Special Education)” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. The course consists of selected subfields. They aim to create a comprehensive school-relevant overview of fundamental areas of mathematics. By doing so, students acquire a teaching-desirable approach to mathematics. Alongside, the course enables to learn to integrate and adequately present the theoretical insights of mathematics didactics.
