Provided by the Technical University of Dortmund the study course “Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Basic Mathematical Education (Primary School)” is with a duration of six semesters. The content consist of areas of elementary mathematicsand a school-relevant overview of basic areas of mathematics. These include the areas of arithmetic, algebra and functions, stochastics and geometry with direct school relevance or direct didactic references. The aim of this teaching-degree is to provide the necessary education and flexible access to themathematical structures while participants examine fundamentals in the professional planning, monitoring as well as analysis of student’s learning.
