“Master of Science in Chemical Biology” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund with a duration of four semesters. The program aims to expand the comprehension of the molecular aspects of life sciences with a view towards the understanding of biological processes. During the compulsory elective lectures, internships, and seminars in chemical biology, cell biology as well as medical chemistry, participants deepen their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Furthermore,participants learn about modern methods of biotechnology and bioanalytics, as well as how they are applied and have the opportunity to choose a focus in which they will complete a research internship. The course also provides the option to take other courses, particularly from the area of business and economicsthat lead to professional qualifications.
