Description
The interdisciplinary, scientific-technical degree program “Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering” is provided by the Technical University of Dortmund with length of seven semesters. At the beginning of the course, students acquire a general introduction to the process-technological production and foundations in mathematics, physics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, organic chemistry and technical mechanics along with introduction of the transport processes. The bachelor degree imparts both sustainable and broad fundamental comprehension in engineering, natural sciences and mathematics. Furthermore, courses are offered on specific subject areas within chemical engineering for example in technical chemistry, apparatus construction, numerical mathematics, process engineering and others.
