Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the program “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” is with duration of six semesters. Throughout their study, participants acquire an insight of the processes in the chemical industry and the large-scale implementation of the laboratory reactions while studying the elements of biomolecules like the nucleic acids, peptides, proteins. The program examines their reactions in order to create new products and covers the entire basics of chemistry specifically general, analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. Imparted courses include toxicology and law, methods of structure determination, mathematics and physics, bio-organic chemistry, technical chemistry as well as compulsory electives and internships.
