Provided by the Technical University of Dortmund the study course “Bachelor of Science in Data Science” is with a duration of six semesters. During the program, students acquire the basic specialist comprehension in order to become able to deal with huge and various amounts of data while applying the scientific competence for method developing and problem-solving aspects. By deepening their understanding of methods and concepts in computer science, students also gain the ability to take on statistical data analysis. Furthermore, the course is accompanied by special lectures on the presentation, processing as well as evaluation of data and computer-aided statistics and statistical learning.
