Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the program “Master of Science in Econometrics” is with a duration of four semesters. The course imparts an extensive knowledge of econometric methods where students are able to form an understanding of central economic causal relationships and the resulting econometric issues. By focusing on the acquisition of skills in statistical programming, statistical consulting and research project management the program enables students to develop sound comprehension in statistics, econometrics and time series analysis. During the program, participants acquire in-depth knowledge in statistical programming, econometric methods and learn to use the formal language of statistics with the fundamental concepts in stochastics. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will be well prepared for a career in econometrics, empirical economic research and more.
