Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the program “Bachelor of Arts in Educational Sciences” is with a duration of six semesters. During the first year, the focus of the course falls on the general fundamentals of educational research while students are able to obtain basic skills in the areas of intermediation, consulting, planning and research. By building up a portfolio of the concepts and methodologies, the course provides with comprehension of fundamental theoretical aspects of the educational research. The program qualifies students for a wide range of professions, for example educational, planning and organizational work in local government, youth education centers, training institutions, state institutes, charities and church organizations and other various fields of activity.
