Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the degree program “Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in German (General Schools, Intermediate Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is with a length of six semesters. This course imparts modules that meet participants with the linguistics and literary studies. Furthermore, students meet with the theoretical and historical aspect of text and contents of the German language. In addition, the course is geared towards children's and youth people's literature as well as popular genres. Participants of this training course meet with a basic subject didactic topic that addresses educational content of literature and language. The course can be studied as a first or second teaching subject in the bachelor's program.
