Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the study course “Master of Arts in Journalism Studies” is with a length of two semesters. The focus of this degree program falls on the exploration of current journalistic topics from a practical and scientific perspective while during the first semester, students work both empirically and theoretically on central and current fields of research and theory. Furthermore, participants deal with questions related to professional practice and theory in journalism as well as quality and editorial management.During their second semester,participants are able to explore the international perspectives in journalism considering the developments and more. The course is taught both in English and German.
