The seven-semester degree program “Bachelor of Science in Logistics” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. During their study, participants acquire knowledge in logistics in the context of economics, natural science and engineering while developing a comprehensive overview of complicated problems and the ability for providing suitable solutions. With its interdisciplinary orientation, the course includes subsequent semesters in fields of simulation, transportation as well as specialist knowledge developed by the additional qualifications and industrial internships. Students form an understanding of the functions and processes of logistics and supply chain management against the background of the management approach of corporate management in value networks. Participants will be able to actively shape and reflect on their learning process and to apply learned approaches to the functional areas and tasks of logistics and supply chain management while deepening their knowledge of methods in an application-oriented manner.
