Offered by the Technical University of Dortmund the study course “Master of Science in Manufacturing Technology” is with a duration of four semesters. The English-taught program aims to convey in-depth theoretical knowledge in manufacturing technology along with strong practical skills through laboratory and scientific project work modules. During the course, students learn to compare manufacturing processes that currently apply in industry while becoming familiar with implementing and organizing projects, the methodology in social sciences, economics, humanities and other disciplines. The program provides with strong intercultural competence as well as with detailed knowledge of different, industrially relevant machining processes, different materials, with a special focus on the application-oriented potential and students become able to successfully identify special problems of metal forming technology, treat them and offer solutions.
