The “Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Mathematics (Grammar Schools and Comprehensive Schools)” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund with a length of six semesters. Students receive a school-relevant comprehension with a focus on algebra, algebra, geometry, stochastic as well as analysis. The aim of this study is to develop a faculty-desirable understanding of mathematics with different emphases. As this is a teacher training course, students must complete the mathematical and mathematics-didactic modules. The focus of those modules falls on the essential didactical theories and elements of mathematics. They are strongly represented as a foundation for the professional guidance for professional learning of students.
