“Master of Science in Mathematics” is with a length of four semesters offered by the Technical University of Dortmund. Apart from deepening the knowledge already acquired during the Bachelor’s degree, the course provides the technical preparation necessary for a demanding job in business and industry or in public service. During the program students attend lectures and seminars in applied mathematics while each student completes advanced modules from the minor subject they have already studied. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will able to develop and implement procedures for solving practical problems using mathematical methods while taking economic requirements into account and will have access to various fields of activity such as IT, credit, insurance, and finance, in management consulting, in public service, at universities, research institutions and more.
