“Bachelor of Arts for Teacher Training in Music (Primary School)” is offered by the Technical University of Dortmund with a length of six semesters. The program is parted into the four areas of instrumental and vocal practice, music theory, composition, musicology (historical and systematic) as well as music pedagogy. The program is curricular structured. As this is a teacher training, the program places a special emphasis upon the didactics. The “Bachelor of Arts for teacher training in Music (Primary School)” course provides to participants a well-founded, practice-oriented teacher training as well as competence for music pedagogical research.
